Nootka Island Fishing Club was formed when Adrian O'Connor and a fishing lodge owner (The Murray family) wanted to create a fishing destination to accommodate their guest in a wilderness environment without costing an arm and a leg. I am very excited to be able to offer my guests a five star experience at a three star price. The fishing club is offering 2, 3 and 4 day all-inclusive packages and custom packages available to suit your requirements. You can bring your own boat or take a guided day trip. You can cook your own food or have your meals prepared for you at our Vancouver Island fishing lodge.

The Vancouver Island fishing lodge is located in Mc Bride bay off Nootka Island on Vancouver Islands west coast. Centrally located between the Village of Zeballos and Tahsis, making either village your starting out point when arriving by car. Our Nootka Sound fishing lodge can accommodate up to 24 guests at a time and is a great spot for a corporate retreat, a family vacation or the fishing trip of a lifetime. For those guests that have already experienced this option with me you know what I am talking about. At the British Columbia fishing lodge you will enjoy all the comforts you would expect from a large resort. Hot tub, steam room and in room fireplace along with incredible scenery and fantastic food make for an unforgettable Vancouver Island Fishing Experience. You will experience an intimate fishing adventure in one of British Columbia's hottest fishing areas. Our BC fishing lodge consistently sends our guests home with limits of Salmon and Halibut. Our Salmon fishing is fantastic during our entire season. Many of BC's fishing lodges experience good fishing for a few weeks due to location. Our location provides us with huge runs of Salmon passing by the entire summer. Nootka Sound has fantastic returns of local Salmon, but we also are on a major migratory highway with runs passing by all the time. Our Halibut fishing is second to none. It is not uncommon to get a double or even a triple header. We consistently catch Halibut in the 50-100lb range and fish over 100lbs are common.
Scenic transportation to and from Nootka Island Fishing Club is available between the port communities of Campbell River and Comox/Courtenay, or Tahsis, Zeballos and Gold River on Vancouver Island.
