Salmon & Halibut Fishing Charter Reports

Reel Obsession Sport Fishing offers World Class Salmon and Halibut Fishing Adventures on the west coast of Vancouver Island BC. Our fishing charters produce trophy Chinook (king) salmon called Tyee's on a regular basis. These 30lb plus slabs are part of the reason why many of our customers return year after year to fish Vancouver Island.

Coho (Silver) Salmon are also abundant in Nootka Sound and Esperanza from July through September. These hard fighting Salmon are very powerful and a lot of fun to fish with light tackle.

Halibut fishing Vancouver Island is second to none. Our fishing charters constantly catch limits all season long. The areas we fish are not prone to catching little chickens either. We catch fish over 100lbs on a weekly basis. Although these fish are fun to catch we do promote the release of these larger females. We are able to produce limits of big fish consistently, so releasing these giants is a great way to conserve this fantastic fishery.
